When All is Well, Take Time to Pray
March 28, 2021 Speaker: Mahlon Smith Series: Seek God's Wisdom
Passage: Acts 15:30–35
Sunday evening 3/28/21: When all is well, take time to pray
Acts 15:30-35
Devotional summary: We read in Acts 15:33 about Judas and Silas: “After they had spent some time here”. We are not told all that they did in the short time they were at Antioch. We do see that the otherwise long stretch of ministry activity included spending some extra time with these disciples. This time may had included prayer, as seen in the custom of Paul and his ministry companions when preaching God’s Word (see Acts 16:12-13). This devotional is to remind all of us that whenever all is well, take time to pray.
- The church was experiencing growth. Acts 15:30
- The church was encouraged by the growth. Acts 15:31
- The church enjoyed the Word in its growth. Acts 15:32-35
Yet, we see a pause in the busyness.
