Child Evangelism Fellowship
We are proud supporters of the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship. Our local group is looking for volunteers to show love and encouragement to children in their After-School Good News Clubs. They need teachers, helpers, prayer warriors, cookie makers, and people who can cut and paste! They deeply believe that God has a deep desire to expand this work in the Watertown and Indian River school districts. If you'd like to learn more or would like to volunteer, please contact us.
Haitian Orphanage
For several years now, New Hope has been involved with the Voice of the Children Orphanage in Haiti. We've taken mission trips to help care for their needs and have also been very involved in supporting them financially. Monday Crew
Monday Crew is composed of people who desire to help maintain our church building. Some do light cleaning while others work on maintenance projects. This servant-hearted group meets every Monday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Hospitality Team
Our Hospitality Team is a group of people who serve the Lord and our church by organizing meals, cooking, hosting events, and helping with set up and tear down for many in-church events we may have. If you enjoy serving people, this is the ministry for you!
Dorcas Sewing Ministry
Our Docas Sewing Ministry is named after “Dorcas”. She is found in Acts 9:36-42 and is known for acts of charity like sewing robes and clothing for those in need; especially the widows. The women in this ministry likewise make various blankets and quilts to give to those in need.
Church Library
Our church Library is filled with over 4,000 books from theological subjects to Christian fiction! We also have a Library Cart that floats around the church with monthly book highlights and free resources.
Military Ministry
Our Military Ministry exists to demonstrate God’s love to current and veteran military families and singles by striving to meet their unique physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. Some things we do for our military families include shipping care packages to deployed service members and hosting special events for military families.
Worship Ministry
Worship Team
Our worship team is comprised of talented vocalists and musicians seeking to serve the Lord through music. The worship team meets weekly for practices, and we occasionally go out to lead worship at other events.
Media Team
Our media team consists of volunteers who operate our live stream, sound, slides, and lights during our services.
New Hope Music Conservatory
The goal of the Conservatory is to provide a safe, welcoming, and Christ-honoring environment where people of all ages and skill levels can learn music. During the spring and fall semesters, students and teachers meet at New Hope throughout the week for private music lessons. We currently offer lessons in voice, piano, guitar, and drums. Welcome Ministry
Our Welcome Ministry consists of four sub-ministries: Check-Ins, Welcome Center, Greeters/Ushers, and our Living Waters Cafe. We aim to create an inviting environment for all of our attendees, and especially first-time visitors.
Check-Ins Team
They are out in the foyer every morning to welcome everyone and to aid new guests with children in securely dropping them off for Children's Church.
Ushers/Greeters
Our ushers and greeters are often the first faces you see when coming to New Hope. On Sundays they greet attendees as they enter the building, help attendees get from their vehicles to the building (especially those who are handicapped), and they also provide attendees with information and will help guide them to various areas of the building as needed.
Welcome Center
The Welcome Center is specifically there for new visitors and guests who want more information about our church, services, and what we are all about. We also have a goodie bag full of excellent resources that we give to first-time visitors as a thank-you for coming to worship with us.
Living Waters Cafe
The Living Waters Cafe serves coffee and (occasionally) snacks before Sunday School from 9:15 - 9:30 am, and again from 10:15-10:30 am. This is a time of fellowship, and all are welcome to come and share a cup together.
Concerts and Conferences
Our church hosts an annual concert by our worship team "New Hope Worship" that is open to the community. We also seek out opportunities to host conferences as we are able to. Upcoming dates and events can be found on our Events page.
Fall Festival
We offer a safe and Godly alternative to Halloween here at our church. We want kids to have fun while also learning about Jesus and about how much He loves them.
