Monday Crew is a group of people who desire to help maintain our church building. Some do some cleaning, while others work on maintenance projects. These people have a servant's heart and meet every Monday from 9:00am to about 10:30am. We can always use more help!
Our Hospitality Team is a group of people who serve the Lord and our church by organizing meals and setting up/tearing down for any in-church event we may have. If you enjoy serving people, this is the ministry for you!
Our church Library in Room 10 is filled with more than 4,000 books! We could always use library assistants to aid with checking people in/out. We also have a Library Cart that floats around the church with monthly book highlights and free resources. Stop on by if you love being around books!
Our worship team is made up of talented vocalists and musicians seeking to serve the Lord through music. They are all very diligent in attending our weekly practices (Wednesdays at 6:30pm, Sundays at 8:30 am, and 5:00pm), and are a tight group of fellow believers. If you would like to try out for the team, please see Pastor Micah.
Our media team consists of people operating our Live Stream during every service, our sound persons, and our slides/lyrics people. We can always use more help in the media booth, so if you are interestd, please let us know! We offer training for those who may not be too familar with the equipment.
Our Welcome Ministry consists of four sub-ministries: Check-Ins, Welcome Center, Greeters/Ushers, and Coffee Time. We as a church aim to cater an inviting environment for all of our attendees, especially for first-time visitors.
They are out in the foyer every morning to welcome everyone, as well as to aid new guests with children in securely dropping off their children for Children's Church. If you would like to serve in this ministry, please contact Pastor Micah or his wife Vilma.
Our ushers help people out of their cars, help them safely in the building, and find seats. Greeters stand by the sanctuary doors to greet everyone and pass out the weekly bulletin. If you'd like to be an usher or greeter, please contact Brandon Locklear.
The Welcome Center is specifically there for new visitors and guests who would like more information about our church, our services, and what we are all about. We also have a goodie bag full of wonderful resources!
Our coffee time takes place before Sunday School at 9:15am. This is a time of fellowship and all are welcome to some coffee and ocassionally some baked goods.
New Hope Conservatory
The goal of the Conservatory is to offer a useful service to our community by providing a safe, welcoming, and Christ-honoring environment where people of all ages and skill levels can learn music. During the spring and fall semesters, students and teachers meet at New Hope throughout the week for private music lessons. We currently offer lessons in piano, guitar, drums, saxophone, and voice. For pricing information, the schedule for the spring semester, and other details, see our brochure.
Concerts and Conferences
Our church tries to yearly put together a worship concert open to the community, in addition to hosting a conference of some sort. Upcoming dates and events can be found in our Events page.
We offer a safe and Godly alternative to Halloween here at our church. We want kids to have fun while also learning about Jesus and about how much He loves them.
