Our belief is that the Children's Ministry is family ministry. Everything we do here involving children has been designed with the family in mind. The curriculum used in Sunday morning classes is designed to assist parents in teaching their child more about God at home.
Safe and Secure Childcare
We have a two-adults per room requirement at all times. All children must be signed-in to the nursery or children's church by a parent or guardian. Upon signing in/dropping your child off you will receive a special key that will allow you access to the Preschool and Nursery wing to pick up your child. For the safety of the children, every volunteer within this ministry must pass a comprehensive background check. The Children's wing remains locked with a secure code during our services.
We offer nursery for infants through 2 years old. Babies are very special to us and we offer free childcare to anyone attending our services. Many loving volunteers nurture and care for the children as if they were their own. Our nursery also offers a paging system in the event that your child needs you during worship.
Sunday School Classes
We offer Bible Study classes for grades Pre K - 6th grade each Sunday morning during our Sunday School hour (9:15am-10:15am). We use lots of fun games, physical activities and a variety of teaching methods to learn about God in every class. Our teaching staff offers a wide variety of teaching styles and methods that make it fun for every child to learn about Jesus in a way that they can easily comprehend!
During our 10:30am and 6:00pm worship services we offer Children's Church for kids ages 3 through 10. Children participate in Bible stories, crafts and music that relate to each week's teaching theme
We offer childcare for those attending our Wednesday night Bible studies. In addition to nursery, we offer Mission Friends for the younger kids, and Children in Action for the older kids. They both use WMU curriculums that foster learning and appreciation for Missions. All classes meet at 6:30pm on Wednesday.
