In Debt No More

Colossians 2:1-15

1. No more impoverished life apart from Christ. Col 2:1-5

            *Strength to endure hardship for God.               2:1

            *Sound mind to embrace God.                           2:2-3

            *Stable foundation to trust God.                        2:4-5

2. No more living in old ways opposed to Christ. Col. 2:6-12

            *New life.                                                         2:6-7

            *New thought-life.                                            2:8-9

            *New purpose for life.                                     2:10-12                        

3. No more living in a past that rejected Christ. Col. 2:13-15

Notice the two certificates you receive at salvation.

            *A death certificate for the past.                          2:13a

            *A birth certificate for a new beginning.            2:13-15
