            *Worldly compromise – (leaven the Herod).   Mark 8:14-16

            *Wandering unbelief – Leaven of the Sadducees.  Matt. 16:6

2. A consequence of wanting to walk away – dullness of understanding

    Mark 8:16-21.

3. The cure when tempted to walk away.

            *Renounce. 2 Cor 6:14-17

            *Repent. 1 Cor 5:7-8

            *Return to the cross. Hebrews 12:1-3
