Finding More Rest in the Seasons of the Soul - Mark 6:21-32

            We considered the first two seasons of the soul last time, likening them to the seasons of the year (Growth of Spring and Dryness of Summer)

Today we consider two more seasons of the soul (the harvest of fall and coldness of winter):

1. Season of victory rests in thanking God. Mark 6:30

What do seasons of victory achieve in the believer’s life?

            *Seasons of victory celebrate what God has done.

            *Seasons of victory strengthen others.

            *Seasons of victory supply the prayer-life.

2. Season of sorrow rests by drawing closer to Christ & His Word. Mk

    6:21-29, 31-32

Why ought we draw closer to Jesus and the Scriptures in times of sorrow?
