1. Historical argument for Jesus’ empty tomb. Galatians 1:11-12

* Premise #1 There are facts associated with the events of empty tomb.

* Premise #2 The explanation: “God raised Jesus from the dead” best
explains the facts of the empty tomb.

* Premise #3 The proposal: “God raised Jesus from the dead” entails the
existence of the God of the Bible.

* Therefore: God exists.

 

 

2. Six facts of Jesus’ empty tomb. Galatians 1:13-17

*What is a fact? A “fact” is a past event that is mentioned in several ancient
sources and which is viewed as such by most historians living today.
