Jesus, Justice and the Gospel – Faithfulness in a Faithless Culture
Mark 3:7-12 / Matthew 12:17-21
1. Define and declare the Gospel in a faithless culture.
The term “Gospel” itself means “good news”. Whenever we declare “good news”, we imply there must be “bad news”. To clearly define and declare the Gospel, I want you to think of five words: “evil”, “event”, “experience”, “exaltation”, “eternity”.
2. Prophetically be salt and light in a faithless culture.
What is meant by “prophetic”: to tell the truth about reality, morality and God by the love of God, the Word of God and the power of God in a consistent way of life.
