Sermon Summary: In this series, we want to take seriously the urgency of “approaching the throne of grace” as referring to our prayer-life specifically and more broadly to our love for Jesus. In this message, you and I (if we are true Christ-followers) are to assess how we are living out our God-given potential in His will (in other words, Christian maturity). We can only progress in the Christian life to the degree we prioritize living a life centered around and turned toward Jesus. We simply want to know then: “why then, ought we prioritize staying near the throne of grace?”
