* Serving God expresses love for Him. 

* Serving God was modeled by Jesus. 

2. What must you understand when serving the Lord?

* The sphere of where you serve. Matthew 10:5-8

* Trust God every moment as you serve. Matthew 10:9-11

* Expect opposition while you serve. Matthew 10:12-23

* He controls outcomes as you serve. Mt 10:19-20; 24-33.

* Expect to offend somebody as you serve. Matthew 10:34-36

* Knowing God fuels the desire to serve. Matthew 10:37-39

* Pointing others to Christ is why you serve. Matthew 10:40-42
