Sermon summary: Today’s message is devoted to understanding how God’s command to Abraham to offer Isaac was a test of His trust in God. Furthermore, Genesis 22 contains amazing parallels to the Father’s sending of the Son of God as a necessary sacrifice for sin.  As we close out this series today, we shall see how Biblical faith requires a necessary sacrifice on behalf of sinners that trust in the Lord for their salvation.
