December 20, 2020 Speaker: Mahlon Smith Series: The Biblical Life of Faith
Passage: Genesis 12:6– 13:4
Morning series: The Biblical Life of Faith
Message: “When drawing closer to God, remember this”
Genesis 12:6-13:4
Sermon summary: So far, we have considered “What begins the Biblical life of faith” and “The call to the Biblical life of faith”. What exactly is faith? Faith involves three elements: truth, agreement, trust. It is possible to have the truth content and mental agreement but yet not have faith in God. Only when we are firmly persuaded by God to trust Him – only then can we claim to have “faith”. Today, we will look at what faith needs to remember when drawing closer to God.
- Consecration. Genesis 12:6-9
- Conflict. Genesis 12:10-20
- Choice. Genesis 13:1-4
