More About How God guides by Providence - Daniel 9:20-27
Sermon summary: In the last message, we began to look at how God guides all things by His Providence. We noted that providence is defined as: “The Execution of God’s decree and the fulfilling of His Word” (John Flavel). If you look at the term “providence” itself, it is made-up of two words: “pro” meaning “before” and “video” meaning “to see”. We could say that God sees before-hand to bring-to-pass His will – from beginning to end and everything-in-between. In this message, we will further explore this wonderful truth and find applications for our lives.
Four areas of Providence: Governance (God’s guidance through the nations). Concurrence (God’s activity in and through human beings, such as decision-making and prayer). Preservation (God’s upholding of creation). Preparatory work (His efforts behind-the-scenes in people’s lives and fulfilled prophecy).

*Upholding of human life.
*Upholding of all things in how He works behind the scenes.
- God’s Providence at work in prophecy. Daniel 9:24-27
*How accurate is Daniel 9:24-27?
*Why does the upholding of prophecy by Providence matter to you?
