Why it is Exciting to Know the Supreme Christ
Colossians 2:1-10

Sermon summary: In our last message we considered how we can live in-light-of Christ’s supremacy. As Paul builds his argument for Christ’s supremacy in Colossians, he urges his point by noting the excitement of knowing the Lord Jesus. Why is knowing Him, in all His supremacy, so exciting?

1. In Him, is satisfying joy. Colossians 2:1-5

*He encourages true joy.
*He is the treasure of true joy.

2. In Him, is truth to live by. Colossians 2:6-10

*He is Truth, Who provides life’s foundation.
*He is Truth, Who answers life’s questions.
