Who God is: The Triune God of the Old Testament
Isaiah 63:7-19
Sermon summary: This series is devoted to unpacking the “doctrine of Theology proper”, which deals with The Bible’s teaching about God’s being, attributes, identity and glory. God is more than awesome! We see “God that is” – the God that exists. God has revealed “what kind-of-God” He is by His attributes. As God interacts with the people of the Bible, He begins to reveal “Who-He-is” by His names. Tonight, we persist into that greater clarity of His identity by first seeing Him as the Triune God of the Old Testament.
1. One God, that is One in being. Isaiah 63:7-8
2. One God, Who is three in Personality. Isaiah 63:9-19
3. Applications for today. Lk 24:44-45; 1 Cor. 10:1-6
