Sermon summary: In this message, Christians will be urged to get their hearts and minds ready for when Jesus comes to retrieve them unto himself. For the last two-thousand years we have been living in “the last days”. The last couple of messages have centered on how God is preparing His church for the return of Jesus for her. Getting our hearts and minds trained to anticipate such events is the goal of this message. We will consider four truths that, when contemplated, achieve this goal.

• Reign of God on His throne. Revelation 19:5-6
• Rapture of the church. John 14:1-3; Phil. 3:20-21; 1 Thess. 4:13-18
• Rewarding of the saints. Rom. 14:10-11; 1 Cor. 3:11-15; 2 Cor. 5:10
• Returning with Jesus. Revelation 19:7-9, 14
