Remaining A Spiritually Healthy Church
February 16, 2020 Speaker: Mahlon Smith Series: Called to be a Healthy Church
Passage: Titus 3:4–15
Sermon summary: We have explored in this series the call to be a healthy church. A healthy church (or Christian) is marked by how they prioritize God, pray, put others first, prize God’s Word and are passionate for evangelism. We conclude our series by asking: how can we as a church retain good spiritual health in years to come? It will require five commitments.
1. Christ-centered preaching. Titus 3:4-8
2. Continual equipping of God’s people. Titus 3:9
3. Courageous stand for the truth. Titus 3:10
4. Call to missions: local and beyond. Titus 3:11-13
5. Consistency in giving to God’s work. Titus 3:14-15
