MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
MOPS meets from September to May on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 9:15-11:30am. Moms hear speakers on various topics concerning motherhood and family. We also play games, share a meal, and do crafts. While the moms are building new friendships with one another, the children do the same in MOPPETS. MOPPET care is available for children birth to 5 years (not in Kindergarten yet). Childcare space is limited, so you must first check for availablity. For more information and to find out our meeting fees, contact the church office.
"What MOPS has provided for me… is a welcome break; a chance to make new friends; the opportunity to know I'm not the only mom who goes through the struggles and joys of raising young children…"
