Greetings:

Greetings in the name of our Lord. I hope as you search through our website that you get a picture of the great people that God has brought to New Hope. God has blessed us with some great ministry leaders. As we continue to reach out to our community God leads the way. He has led us to a ministry to families, and our members are a “family.” While we are not perfect, many have found a “home” at New Hope.

Children's Ministries:

Our belief is that Children's Ministry is family ministry! Everything we do here involving children, from Bible Study, to fun family gatherings, to mission projects, to special events, to our recreational opportunities, has been designed with the family in mind. Even the curriculum used in Sunday morning classes is designed to assist parents in teaching their child more about God at home

Bible Study For Children in grades 1-6

We offer graded Bible Study classes for grades 1-6 each Sunday morning from 10:15 to 11:15. We use lots of fun games, physical activities and a variety of teaching methods to learn about God in every class. Our teaching staff offers a wide variety of teaching styles and methods that make it fun and challenging for every child to learn about Jesus! Each week our classes teach children how to use their Bibles, where to find verses they are memorizing, who Jesus is and how He wants them to live, how to get along with others, and how to enjoy the abundant life described in the Bible, and much, much more.

Missions Opportunities for Children

Projects are done throughout the year here so the children can participate in hands-on learning experiences that are missions related. One of our annual favorites is Operation Christmas Child (see www.samaritanspurse.org). Every November we collect shoeboxes packed full of items to send to children in impoverished or war-torn countries around the world by any family that would like to participate. Their goal is to send over 4,000,000 shoeboxes overseas.

Nursery Care and Preschool Ministries

Preschoolers are special to us! During all worship services, we offer childcare for families attending the service. We have a co-operative nursery. Every family with preschoolers lends a hand as caregivers in our preschool area once every four weeks. This gives all parents the opportunity to regularly attend worship services.

Safe and Secure Childcare

We ask that all children be registered annually in order to participate in all we offer. This keeps us up to date on any important information we may need in order to safely care for each child.

We have a two-adults per room requirement, at all times. New caregivers are paired with those who have served as a volunteer for some time, in order to assist them in learning our procedures. All children must be signed-in to their classrooms by an adult. We have an enclosed play-yard for children - ages five and under - which includes play toys.

Preschool Classes

While parents attend their own classes on Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 11:15, we offer age-graded Bible learning classes for preschoolers for age-appropriate teaching. Games, toys, puzzles, activities, stories and learning centers are just a part of what we use to teach our preschoolers. We have a loving volunteer staff who work with the same children each week!

Our nursery and preschool areas are fun and loving places to be where children learn about Jesus! Come join us!
